Any hint of a release date? Really would like this phone.
Looks like a decent phone, but that free under contract thing would've made it so much more tempting...
Free on contract? I'll be all over that.
Estimated release date for the cliq?
I came. Definitely getting this.
Shopped or not, do want.
Hey... that means the iPhone will play nice with certain SSIDs automatically? I can't be the only one who sees a huge security fault with that.
I lol'd at ethan. Ubuntu, a good OS? It has more problems than Windows (seriously). And for anyone saying to put linux on that you can easily do that yourself once you get it.

As everyone else has said, you need to lower the price andor improve the specs, because nobody I know has $2k to throw at a netbook.
Bigfoot is the Samsung i7500, the next Android based phone.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
