Can someone please tell me why there's a guy to the right showing affection @ 00:28. This is engadget right??
Well, unlike your pc which a typical person replaces every 2-3 years, cars on the other hand must last 10 years plus without needing an upgrade. That's one of the reasons car manufacturers rely on tried and tested systems.
Hey, I'll welcome bandwidth caps over data discrimination any day. Plus, it's not like you actually get 'all you can eat' data with those 'unlimited' plans. I'll rather AT&T advertise the data plans at 5G/month than UNLIMITED with a hidden footnote of a 5G cap.
Shows what you know. Network operators use SMS to configure phone settings. On phones that do not understand the settings, you just get garbled text. Try it. Put your iPhone sim card in a plain ol' GSM phone and have someone leave you a voice mail. You will get the voicemail ding on the ol' phone as well as an SMS settings text - this is the text that notifies iPhones you have a new visual voicemail.
It's actually true. You can see it is on the same spot as shown in iFixit disassembly: http://static4.ifixit.com/igi/PidOJN3NMK1ZypTG.large

Cool.
Go to field test mode and see the actual power you're receiving. The bars is replaced with the actual reception value.
Field test code is *3001#12345#*
The lower your value, the better the reception. Good reception is below -85. Just an FYI.
Completely down here in Germantown, MD
Why don't we get such a deal over here on the other side of the pond?
Newest updates on top.
This is the age of AJAX. Please use dynamic web page updates. I hate refreshing or scrolling to the bottom.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
