Guys, read the above news again...it has been udpated. There is an update saying something about....
"AT&T says that there will be a "non-qualified" upgrade price as well"
What the heck does that mean?? What is considered a "non-qualified" upgrade????????? Can someone please clarify?? Is this for people who are not currently eligible for an upgrade discount (if they were to get any other regular phone...such as after 18 months into the contract)???
Will I still be able to get the new iPhone at $199/$299 price even though i JUST started a contract with AT&T last month. There won't be any crap like, ''oh you just started your contract last month so you can't renew it (or add 2 more years and eht end of the current contract)...you will have to pay $200 more" Equaling out to $199/$299 + $200
So you work for AT&T...I dunno what a RSC is...sorry. Now can you please tell me what I am in for.
I just signed a contract with AT&T for my old iphone like 1 month ago. Now I want the new iPhone. Am i still eligible for getting the $199/$299 price or is there any way around...to get that price?? ANy swapping or anything llike that since I have been with them only 1 month now??
That's true...if you're already on contract, then they could care less. But I thought the idea here was to 'renew' the contract to additional 2 years...now that would be an incentive to them.
I want to know the same thing. I've been with AT&T for only 2 months now (had always been a Windows Mobile person so didn't know that the new iPhone was coming out..stupid!). So if there is such thing as eligibility, then I probably don't qualify. Can someone please shed some light on this?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
