Rubbish--your iPhone will die on you if your house's electricity goes out overnight and you didn't just charge your phone.

Why wouldn't the app developers port their apps to other platforms? Sure, it might take some work but if it's a hit on iPhone it could be a hit on something else . ..
You do realize there's a major difference (legally and economically) between charging high prices and agreeing with your competitors to set high prices, right?
