Funny, isn't it, that the more mainstream an IT company is, the less mainstream fast food it cooperates with :) I wonder how much Jobs paid McDees' for the Big Mac... :))) And in Poland, you always get a free APPLE on top of a HAPPY Meal :)))
And what fast food would be appriopriate for Linux???
Looks like great news for counterfeiters of all kind ;) Will YOU make it before the 3G S launch date, to push out a pPhone, with stunning GPRS speeds, dual sim and TV-receiver PLUS (of course) a sliding-out pre-like QWERTY?? LOL
OJJ (sth like WTF in Polish), why the heck haven't you tagged the info BREAKING, especially considering the lack of preety much ANY previous info on HTC's WiMax developments???
How come Engadget isn't informaing about 2 another iPhones 3g sim-unlocked in Poland?
The solution is based on a Hong-Kong YesSim card with custom firmware made by a Polish-smart-guy - N3T.
The iPhone ("original" from AT&T) - works with all Polish operators, with full functionality - EDGE and 3G data, SMS, Voice MMS and all the stuff, doesn't need jailbreaking to work!!!
More details (with videos and on-line store!!!!-cards are 99PLN each-around $50) on the author's blog: http://hack4food.org/HackForFood/N3T(%40)WORK/N3T(%40)WORK.html
Enjoy!
I've found a hint on when the 3G iPhone can be available for the rest-not-so-lucky countries (like mine).
On the O2 UK site, I've found an iPhone->iPhone 3g upgrade offer (truly gream IMHO!!! - free on selected plans!). Details here: http://www.o2.co.uk/iphone/existingiphonecustomers
And there's also THIS notion: "This special early upgrade offer is only available online at o2.co.uk anytime from 11th July until 11th October 2008."
It could mean that since 11th October no upgrade possible due to the opening on every other markets and greater demand :)
And the funniest thing of all this (if true) - my contract ends exactly on Oct 10th :))) (I'll be eligible for upgrade exactly on July 11 though :(, I could buy one Ebay, but i'll wait to get full warranty, support etc...)
So, my iPhone-awaiting, ba patient ;)
Greetings!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
