So which would you rather have? A 30% drop call rate and data at the same time so you can keep browsing while waiting for your friend to call you back or, the largest network in the US?

Personally I think I'll go with the largest network before the 30 % dropped calls.
I could use a new laptop and phone.
@ash chapman too bad this isn't going to be a smart phone. It'll be a feature phone in LG's lineup running their flash UI - probably some version of their cube UI. Also, some specks I saw had it pegged with 7.2 HSDPA so probably not US bound with that. But LG does love Verizon so they'll probably make a EVDO version
There is no fix for the world economy. We're all going to hell in a hand basket. A really, really cool tech hand basket but a hand basket none the less.

"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
