All this chart says is that Verizon finally got a noteworthy phone and they just released it. This is normal. Who was expecting Apple to go up in popularity because of the Droid release? The data is more a reflection of timing than any significant shift in momentum.
Tech news is becoming as trivial as sports news. What will be next, minute by minute polls? C'mon Chris!
Or download the iPhone TomTom version (or almost any other application for that matter) via Installous on your jailbroken phone for free.
The entire concept is stupid, taking a multitasking device (iPhone) and trying to turn it into a dedicated GPS Navigation system. There is nothing worse than having to hit the home button to go back to an application when a call comes in. It only makes sense to have two separate units, especially at this price.
Dirty Cops!

I've been pulled over in GA and the officer asked me if I would like to have him do a radar calibration and I thought to myself "what will that prove if you are lying?" I was speeding however and was very disjointed that my radar detector wasn't working as well as I'd hoped. Does anybody know of an iPhone application or GPS navigation device that tracks and logs speed?
haha, Canadians are hilarious, has anyone been to the south (Alabama, Mississippi) lately? According to a forbes article Canada is 35 fattest while the US is 9th. http://www.forbes.com/2007/02/07/worlds-fattest-countries-forbeslife-cx_ls_0208worldfat_2.html
What about vista? can I use bootcamp to install vista on an external drive and get it to work?
Have you ever seen the VDUB commercials? Retard.
It will be a sub $500 integrated system similar to the mac mini but bigger. It will have 3.5 HD and upgradeable CPU and RAM and a PCIE slot. It will be Apples version of the DIY Hackintosh.
It seems as though many of the readers of TUAW have still don't get the point of the Apple ads. Apple's ads personify computers (harware and software). Microsofts latest comercial depersonifies people into PCs. Microsoft would benefit from first understanding Apple's commercials before wasting $300 million with an irrelevant retaliation.
Why isn't it obvious that Apple's ads compare computers not the people who use them? If all PC users were like the PCs they use they wouldn't be intelligent enough to switch to Mac and thus render the Apple ads impotent. Apples share gains in the market are proof that PC users who switch are not "PCs".
hahahaha,
tra la la, that was the best laugh I've had in a long time! I am right, you do work for the nasty Verizon company. Do you get a lot of those people calling in?

You are the type who criticizes before doing any research. My omitting info doesn't make me wrong, I am still right, if you fill in the blanks with erroneous assumptions then you are the ass. For future reference, if your not sure, ask for clarification before calling names... oh but wait, why would you do that? That might actually require more of a brain and less of an ego.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
