Well thank goodness AT&T thought this through before blocking these sites.
I agree, I don't know why Sprint hasn't gone to the prorate system yet... I'll be honest, I hope sprint does some serious advertising in the near future about their service now that Verizon and alltel look like there going to go through... I think Sprint could pick up a lot of customers because around my area, people who were on alltel were dissatisfied with VZW's service, which is why they're on Alltel right now... I don't think they're going to go back where they left... Hopefully Sprint will have a great deal on some plans to get customers in the stores... Maybe like Tmo with their unlimited family share plans? or possibly lower there simply everything for $89.99?

Sprint looks towards the future it was really obvious when ATT is trying to get the FCC to stop their merge with ClearWire... 4G is the next up and coming, and it seems to be a little more promising that LTE... Sprint will be the provider everyone wants to switch to for the most current high speed data in the next few years...
Actually, your right and wrong at the same time...

The ONLY plan that you don't have to add the airave package is if you're on the Simply Everything Plan... This device does NOT give you EVDO, just 1X... I'm sure they have one that does EVDO sitting in a warehouse somewhere waiting to launch at Christmas... My question is, if you're going to be able to take this with you when you travel so you can get unlimited calling and good cell service while you're on the go.. I mean, obviously it's going to be a big thing to carry with you on a trip, but i mean if you're going to be somewhere that doesn't get good cell service then it might be worth taking with you!

I think we're going to start seeing airave monthly fees dicipate once other providers come out with their own version of this... i mean, TMO's UMA is a joke! I had TMO for a while and it was AWFUL! I had better reception/call clarity just using their towers, which was just as bad!

I'm optimistic about the outcome of this device for Sprint
I agree! I think Ivan is making a huge mistake by spouting of about this... Verizon had their chance and they turned it down. I think all the market power is getting to their head.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
