It's nice to hear it as a rumor, but if it's true, I will not let my wife know it :>)
Mr Tim,
Did I say "Mandatory contract" or you just assumed? I did walk through their website by chose the Nokia 5800 and add it to the cart, on the top of "Contract" selection, they will ask for " No contract, 1, 2 or 3yrs". I selected 2yrs that's how it cost the Nokia 5800 for $99.
Did I say "This should be available in TEXAS?" I knew this is not available in Texas, I just "hope" this retailer will be available in Texas for "Customer Service" purpose, NOT for "ordering" purpose.
Humm.... Are you an American with a broken English?
It's $99 for 2yrs contract until the end of May, but their Montly plan is quite expensive (I'm looking for a family plan), plus no retailer store in Texas area... now make me think twice!
Love Nokia N97 so much... it kills me every days of waiting!
It could be for Nokia 5900 Express Music or whatever the next model is!
So what's next? A 14MP phone?
Really, I'm tired about MP too. Those R&D team should focus more on other features like image stabilizer, super wide angle or at least a premium class lens... because at the end, picture quality will win the battle, not MP size.
Derek, Kilgore,
It'snot the "voice recorder" (To recorder your own voice as a memo/notes)
it's the "conversation recorder" where only during talking with other party, there's an option "REC" pop up on screen that if you press it, it will recorder BOTH your voice and the other party voice.
I know some SonyEricson phones (ie. W810i) has this feature and best of all, it will balancing out the volume level on both ways when recording. Unfortunally, SonyEricson doesnt make many touchscreen phones beside Xperia X1 which's overpriced. (iPhone has this option as an "add on" software, nice, but I hate ATT for drop call, I'm currently an ATT customer with no contract)
Can anyone confirm this 8MP phone equiped with conversation-recorder?. My memory isnot like a 5 yrs old kid so for "taking notes without pen" this option is what I'm looking for. Unfortunally, most of the spec. or phones seem to ignore this option.
Anyone know if iPhone can perform a voice conversation recording during call?. I currently own an SE W810i, and I love this feature. Thanks.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
