Sprint/Clearwire will be uncapped on 4G. And they'll have a handset a year sooner than vzn. How much you want to bet it'll be cheaper too?

not to pile on, but WiMAX and LTE are both OFDM, so neither could be considered a progression for GSM or CDMA. jfyi
What are ATT and VZN going to do about their spectrum deficiency? As for WiMAX, it and LTE are both OFDM...not a tough migration.

"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
