It's cool because it's an official NES joystick, but I had that when I was 10 and let me tell you, it made NES games harder, not easier.
the D3X has worse high ISO quality than the D3 or D700. It's usable up to 1600 whereas the D3 and D700 go to 3200 with no problem.
Actually photographers will know where the secret lies on the large version... right in his eyes. I see an umbrella with a strobe and a softbox filling in the shadows.
If $8000 seems like too much, then it's not for you. Are you a top photojournalist, pro fashion shooter or shooting for national geographic? No? Then why get upset about the price... Most people using these are making more than enough to pay for them, or they are getting the equipment from someone who is paying for it.

It's not like there aren't good options for around $1000 or so, including Nikon options for the rest of us.
That thing looks comfortable to hold for hours.

Oh wait, no it doesn't.
Just another example of how dumbed down this game has become and how easy blizzard wants it to be to appeal to the mass market.
The movies. The books were more important, but the movies were more fun.
That looks just like an operating system I have installed on my PCs. It's called Windows Vista.
Double XP weekends / XP increases in general result from one of two conditions:

1. The publisher wants to sell more expansions at any cost to the game play

2. The game is failing and the publisher needs people to feel rewarded for continuing to play.

Whether out of greed (1) or desperation (2) these increases only serve to cheapen the content of the game and the time players have put into the game.
I am the first to support more competition for Nikon and Canon, but I have to say as a full frame Nikon shooter, "noticable noise on anything over 400 ISO" is pretty poor for a full frame DSLR. Even Canon's old, old, old 5d did much better than that, and Nikon's new cameras are working at 3200 ISO without much noise.... too bad for Sony fans.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
