I'm amazed that in other cities, bicycle pub crawls would be contentious in any way, shape or form.

Hell, in the summer there's a 10k race that's also a pub crawl. Every kilometer you have to stop at a bar and drink a beer (or three). It ends at Frankie and Johnnie's, uptown. Dare we mix a wholesome american family activity like running with alcohol? What kind of example would that set for our children?
I like gadling because it reminds me of why I like to travel.
Just to clarify, Jazz Fest takes place at the New Orleans Fairgrounds, which are not in or near the French Quarter but in the neighborhood of Mid-City, about three miles northwest of the FQ. There aren't any hotels near the Fairgrounds, just a couple of bed and breakfasts. Hotels are mostly concentrated in the CBD and French Quarter.

It's a long walk, but there is a streetcar that runs roughly from the quarter to the fairgrounds (the Canal Street line towards City Park/Museums, $1.25 per person one way). Get off at Beauregard Circle and walk about seven blocks to the fairgrounds. Grey Line also runs a shuttle from downtown to the fairgrounds for Jazz Fest, it's $16 per roundtrip ride.
Retitle: 10 things that are hilarious to say to Jersey girls
Last night on Leno, Saints quarterback Drew Brees admitted he watches Glee.
Hahaha, I know the girl in the "Stripper" stock picture. That's awesome.
Get a dog, homeboy. Not only do they show you're responsible (Cats are basically self-supporting, dogs need attention and regular care), dogs are undyingly loyal.
Women are crazy.

I have no idea if the guys I hang out with are better looking or worse looking than I am. And I don't care.

They're my friends.

I'm starting to think "The woman's perspective" is near equal to "The shallowest, most self-indulgent man in existence's perspective".

But these video clips keep me coming back, so I guess mission accomplished, Asylum.
Lot of skeptics in the last article- I say power to Lucid for some seriously groundbreaking technology.

Now, what are the odds that AMD/Nvidia attempt a buyout to keep the technology out of the hands of the competition?

Or maybe Intel will buy them out to encourage gamers to go with Intel chipsets?
I have to give this app a 4/10. I tried it, and it's definitely convenient and it works well, but it slows down my blackberry a lot when it's in use. And it's ALWAYS in use! Even when you turn off the Wifi function, the Boingo app runs in the background, with no way to close or exit the app.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
