I wish Ham Radio Deluxe/DM780 would be ported to OS X. That has been my favorite all-in-one radio app. And, it's free. Too bad I have to launch Windows to use it, though it does seem to work well in Parallels.
Install went smooth on my 15" MBP (purchased earlier this year). Only issue was my Cisco VPN Client. It couldn't find any open network connections, even though there was one. Just had to reinstall it. Now everything is working. Even Parallels Desktop 4 (latest build, running Vista SP2) is working great. Whew!

Regained about 11GB of space. And now I actually like Stacks.
Nope. I'm in the same boat. My org refuses to update to 2007 since 2003 "works so well." Obviously, our IT department never experiences the constant connection failures the rest of the staff does.
That pigeon has about as much rhythm as I do.
I gave the Instinct a fair chance, but with it's flaky e-mail, slow browser, and erratic reception, I finally gave up and returned it. Add the fact that Sprint tried to charge me a $200 early termination fee (even though I was well within my 30 days and took going through 5 levels of customer support before they finally realized they screwed up) made me vow to never use them again.

If this update didn't fix the e-mail or browser, then I'm still pleased with my choice to return it.

Just returned our 2 Instincts. Yes, we did get iPhones, but I would have returned that buggy Instinct regardless. Even my Sprint-fanboy co-worker is admitting that he will likely return his Instinct as well.

LIKES
- Excellent GPS
- Voice dialing / commands
- Haptic feedback
- Size and form factor. Not as wide as the iPhone.
- Voice quality was excellent in our area. Much better than AT&T, that's for sure.
- Bluetooth transfers worked great with my Mac.

DISLIKES
- E-mail basically stopped working suddenly. Both phones stopped checking mail automatically and neither would send mail. This happened with both POP3 ISP mail and Web-based mail (Yahoo and Gmail). Full reset didn't help. This was the main deal-breaker for me.

- Reception was erratic. Constantly dropped EVDO in places where my previous Moto Q9C had a great signal. Called Sprint about this and was told to wait for their signal booster to be released (that would cost me $15-30 extra month to use.) No thanks.

- Video playback was ok. As in, it was ok until I saw an iPhone play video. Honestly, no comparison.

- Load times for pics stored on the microSD card got old real quick. Yes, the images were scaled-down versions (around 15kb apiece)

- Having to press buttons 3 or more times just to get them to register.

- Web browser would randomly center text on websites. This happened on my wife's phone from day 1, and then started on mine a few days later. Very annoying. Deleting cache/cookies and resetting didn't fix it.

- Zero Mac USB support

Don't miss that phone at all. The iPhone isn't perfect either, but at least I can send email from it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
