Anyone else (on a carrier that allows tethering) notice that there is now a "Tethering Usage" stat in the Usage section? Nice little addition.
Ratio of Americans who think Canadians say "eh" all the the time to Canadians who actually say it all the time - 1,000,000:1.
And *I* wouldn't be a nit-picky jerk if I didn't point out that a parsec is also a measure of distance (just over 3 light years). But who am I to argue with Han Solo. . . He was, of course, referring to his shaving about 6 parsecs off the Kessel Run route by, well, cheating. Maybe I should have been on Greedo's side all along. . .
Was waiting for someone to catch that. Didn't expect to see it so late in the comments.
Want. SO want.
I've had my eye on this for a while now (no idea why Engadget was so slow on the uptake), and I will buy one. I want to be able to have WiFi and location services and 3G running all the time and don't want to have to find a wall plug every 5 hours under heavy use. If it's rubberized/grippy, even better. I despise the 3G casing - too slippery in sweaty hands - and I like the weight of the 1st Gen iPhone. Double the battery life, a little more heft in the device, and a firmer grip? Sold. Even if it *does* come in purple.

I still have an original iPhone on AT&T and a 3G on Rogers. I have been mulling over the idea of upgrading to a 3G, but for some reason I actually like the original form factor better. I'm not as data hungry as thought I would be so I eke by on EDGE no problem. I continuously checked the AT&T website for HUP eligibility but found nothing. Now that it's available, and after having more experience with the 3G, I'm floating somewhere between "meh" and "whatever". Mind you, the new Curve is looking tasty. . . but that's another post.
@ who?

Bad answer, dude. Yeah, so Canada's name comes from an Iroquois word. And that makes it like France how? And I feel awful pointing out, yet again, the narrow geographical scope of some of the bloggers here. Unless of course Mr. Miller was making a reference to Canadians all speaking French. In which case he missed the mark by a long shot. Keep at it though. Hopefully ignorance dilutes over time. . . Oh, and big mechanical spiders rock.

"Singular purpose is to not fall d. . . Damnit. Must stay uprigh. . . Crap. Balance is importan. . . Damn. Failure is not an optio. . . Sh*t. Just turn me off. Please."
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
