What the heck does this Australian News site, Smarthouse, mean when answering why get the G1 when the G2 is just around the corner?

HTC believes Cupcake will come to the T-Mobile G1

This is completely T-Mobile's call as CupCake will be merged into the main Android path just after the New Year.

Most likely in mid to late January OTA.

Looks like this keyboard was hacked in well before CupCake as the date shown on the phone is October 19th - unless it hasnt been time synched since then.

I spoke to my local Walmart here in San Diego where we are covered by 3G and said there was a big pow wow meeting and wont actually get the G1s til November 10th.

You can now get the G1 at local T-Mobile stores for $154

Supposedly in November Best Buy & Radio Shack will have them for $100.

"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
