Its also funny because you are poking fun at other people's comprehension skills, and yet you don't have the comprehension skills to know when you're spelling a word wrong, since you incorrectly spelled "comprehension" twice in your comment. Makes you look like a big idiot, I'm glad you're not my dad.
@ Chris Cox, learn how to spell. Its "comprehension" not "comprehention". The fact that you have a son, totally surprises me. I thought the comment was written by a 14 yr old. Otherwise, I have no problem with your comment. But jeez....you must be from Nebraska or something with that kind of spelling at your age.
So your patience is a little bit over a week? Nokia just announced the phone about a week ago. Your a dumbass by the way...If Nokia is less committed to things like MWC, wouldn't that let them have more time to work on the N900. But since your a dumbass, you probably couldnt connect the two. Dumbass!
Yes, the configurations definetly looks like an E71, that was the first thought that came to my mind. I guess Life's Good when you steal other people's design.....
Paul A. Chapel is a Bitch. Hey Paul, Steve-Oh Jobs told you to go jump off a bridge.....so go do it already, and DIE BITCH! Im so sick of iPhone users and their tiny little sheep brains. I want to bitch slap the next person I see with one.
Mike, You have to go get the update yourself, the phone does not automatically update itself. You can either do an update using Nokia PC Suite/Software Updater via PC, or you can do it over the air with the Nokia software updater in the phone. It is much faster to do it using PC Suite.
I just did my update on my NAM N97 (us version) and it works great! Much props and thumbs up for Nokia putting out a firmware update on the N97 within 3 weeks of launch. Also this firmware update launched at the same time globally....usually the US has to wait an extra month after euro/asia updates. Great Job Nokia!!! :D
@ James - I think its the other way around. The E71x has much more capable OS and specs than the bold. Symbian S60 is the most secured OS and has way versatility and functions than RIM's OS. The only thing the Bold has going for it is the display. The E71x is the slimmest smartphone in the market, it has a much better battery life, better build quality (what is that on the back of the Bold? fake leather? pleather?). Don't get me started on that trackball either.....1) it gets dirty and needs to be cleaned and 2) you have to constantly move your thumb when scrolling with the trackball. The directional pad is much easier to use. The bottom line....You get a much better phone with the E71x at $100 on contract, than the pile of plastic called the BB Bold for $299.
Nokia sells over 400 million phones a year, Apple's goal is to sell 10 million. Nokia = 40% global marketshare Apple = not even a blip. Nokia = a whole range of phones, Nseries, Eseries,..etc. Apple = 1 phone (hello apple?, were not all the same, but im sure you want us to be). Nokia/S60 = Open source OS, with great innovations Apple OSX = do it our way, because we said so....and because we have big herd of sheep. Nokia = Great quality phones and services, Apple = garbage. Apple wishes they could be Nokia, its their wet dream. Oh by the way, how are all those dropped calls, laggy applications, and cracked cheap plastic cases on your so called jesus phone. Get a real phone like the Nokia E71 or the N95 and you wont be trash talking Nokia.
I would include a garbage can with it, because thats where the iPhone belongs. Engadget, quit kissing the iPhone's ass already. But really, this phone is garbage! Ive heard reports of the phone overheating and melting that cheap plastic they put in the back and Ive read that the cheap plastic back cover has been cracking (which can more easily be seen on the 16gb/white model). Thats great....I spend more money on the white model just so I can show pple the how the iphone cracks. Ive had enough of this cheap phone!!!!!!!! Should have waited and got an Nokia E71.....anyone have an E71 that they want to trade for a 16gb iphone 3G?
www.nseries.com, i know its an Nseries website....but there is list of stores on that site that will have access to the E71 and you can purchase it there.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
