This was carried over from when it was still GrandCentral. GrandCentral used to have a full tutorial on how to set up call forwarding from Gizmo and called it an official feature.
Normally the boot up sequence would go by a lot faster, but (as you can see from the bottom of the video) 9.10 is being run under VirtualBox so performance isn't all that it could be.
Apparently this has been going on in my school since early August, good thing I'm a CS major

Right now I'm using ThinkFree Mobile which has great start-up time and memory usage plus the UI is specifically crafted for netbooks. They were handing out free keys a while back for filling out their survey, but at the moment all that is available is the demo for it.

"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
