Never thought BMW could make something uglier than the X3, but there are pictures of it on my screen.
Re MB being the best - I think Autoblog's review of the Panamera would disagree with you.

What is it about Porsche making changes that gets people all huffed up? I don't like the Cayenne but it's been intensely profitable. When the company went to water cooling people raised a ruckus. When they decided to make the Panamera it was as if the world was going to end? When are people going to realize that the 911 has only become more hardcore, despite what else Porsche is selling. Autoblog reported that the latest 911 turbo will have over 500 HP out of a 3.8 L six cylinder engine.

Remember, this is a car company that started out of the VW Beetle. They could have stayed with that and evolved at the Beetle's pace, or they could have broken out on their own and given the world cars that rival those costing several times the price.
Anyone else find that to be a little anticlimatic, given all the hoopla that Autoblog is giving this car's engine?
You do realize that the Volt is a series hybrid, not a purely-electric vehicle, right?
Gotta disagree with iPod integration - if they put the iPod jack in they'll throw out the AUX jack which is far more versatile as far as devices go.
Why do most of these designs put all of their effort in the sides and front, then put the generic rear on? Seriously, people like looking at a car's rear too.
Would be good to have some sort of bumper cover, like the Subaru Outback, on the wagons with the third row installed - I can see a lot of shoes landing on the bumper while getting in and out.
Just make sure you don't get soap in the intercooler; that'll void the warranty.
Don't knock 'em until you've used them - you can control every aspect of the vent's operation (open/shut, vertical and horizontal angles, I guess that's every one) with a single peg rather than with a separated knob and flange.
Your fourth graders didn't know idiot but knew ignorant? Brilliant!

And that was quite charitable of you to move the car.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
