I'm an unsatisfied N97 owner so, naturally, I don't recommend its little cousin. Even with firmware 2.0, S60 5th addition is borderline abysmal.

I might put mine up for sale on eBay or Craigslist.
Munk:

Market share is meaningless in a discussion about the merits of a product. There are very good products that don't sell well and there are lesser ones that do.

I firmly believe that S60 and Symbian are not only holding Nokia back but they may ultimately lead to its fall from the top of the handset mountain.
Good luck to those who take the plunge. I hope it's better than my N97. S60 5th edition, even with N97 firmware 2.0, isn't very good.
Once upon a time, lol meant "laugh out loud". Now, it just means "I'm uncomfortabel in my own skin".

Hey, at least I admit it.
The internet is full of optimism and positive thinking.
This sounds like an excellent phone and will be at the top of my list when released.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
