@AndyS: Why do people like you take the time to write about how much you pay for your phone service, or how switching would affect your bill? Who cares? Why not talk about the product which is the point of the blog. No one gives a crap about what your financial situation is and why you WON'T get the Droid.
A Commuter would be a birthday present!! Thanks.
Is Rosetta that detrimental to SL's speed?
Yeah. That's like when you see a book that says "Over 1 Million Copies in Print". Just because they printed that many doesn't mean that they've SOLD that many. But I do hope Android does well. Competition is so mighty good for all of our devices.
Does it work with Exchange?
@Luigi192: Imagine that. A beta being buggy! Perhaps they should come up with a name for software that is still in testing and not ready for public use because it might be buggy.

Wait. How about calling it a BETA? Why didn't anyone think of that?
Office for Mac is horrible. It's an M$ slap in the face to Mac users.

I use iWork and have native Exchange support with Snow Leopard.
If you are worried about security you could always set the device to use a pin to unlock. I wouldn't want someone going through my emails, contacts, messages anyway if I lost my phone.

@Oliver: I think the point was to compare native apps. He specifically stated that he did not use any third party apps in the video test.
I had this happen to me as well and it was after downloading the AT&T Nav app. It was picking up other program icons and apps downloaded after the AT&T Nav install would have the wrong icon as well.

I actually did a full restore yesterday and it solved the problem. I did reinstall from a back up so I didn't have to re-setup logins for those apps that require it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
