@PaulMdx

Oh god I just walked outside into all the radiowaves and non-ionising radiation and tumors just appeared all over my body help!
Gross, Thermaltake, worst brand ever.

Everything I've ever bought from them has broken in some way and the cases that I bought from them in the past were always terrible. One of their shitty PSU's even fried a motherboard of mine.

It's kind of a cool design I guess, but I'd never buy anything Thermaltake again.
I really don't get the excitement over this, it looks ok and all, but it's not really anything groundbreaking. The aesthetics aren't all that nice either.
@(Unverified) Uhh, I was talking about the number of people who pre-ordered, not the cost. Read, comprehend, reply.
@atomicthumbs Yeah that sure is a lot for the launch of a new piece of hardware.
Wow, that looks craptacular. So wait, who was actually waiting for one of these again?
This is tacky as shit, it looks like someone just went and got a metallic gold case for an iPhone and glued a bunch of fake plastic jewels onto the front. Anyone who saw this in real life would think the same.
Despite the wall of barely legible text no one has managed to describe why anyone would choose a Symbian device over an iPhone, Android device or a WebOS device. All three platforms are superior to S60 in every way.

I love my iPhone but I'm open to those other two platforms and I would probably go for one of them if I stopped liking my iPhone.
Translation: I'm a S60 user who was using S60 phones up until last December when I bought an iPhone because it blows everything Nokia can even conceive, let alone produce, out of the water.

I don't "get" Nokia fan boys, can someone please explain to me what there is to like about Nokia phones over say Android devices, the Palm Pre or yes, the iPhone?
One might even say it's a super cool story, bro!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
