This basically looks like verizons, version of the HTC Hero, so now he have three versions of the hero. The original gsm euro one with the chin; the sprint randition; and verizons randition. Since i am a sprint customer, i really wanted to get the sprint hero, however i think verizons hero looks ten times bettter. all nice and black(unlike the strange gray and silver tones of sprints), and has the 4 touch keys(home, menu, back, search) instead of hard buttons like euro and sprint hero. now if i can only get the verizon hero on sprint. as long as its not locked down like most verizon phones are.
I have always been wanting to do something like this, un manned ariel vehicles with survellince capabilities, but for civilians. some startup company should start making RC planes, helicopters, and blimps. with built in highquality hd cameras, also include some time of connectivity mechinism so you can control and/or watch it live on a laptop. also a camera lens that can be controlled. imagine flying an RC helicopter with a camera, attached over the White House. that would be so funny.
i hope this phone comes out for NEXTEL too not just boost. phone looks nice for a long time iden user who really wants a slider, however i cant really stand that keypad, bad color and to small looking cheap plasticky keys. come on moto this could be the hotttest iden phone ever...so lets fix that keypad and make this right.
I wonder if anyone was rolling on some XTC, watching this shit, to some trance music.
she says "I am popular, I cant help it"; yeah come on so popular that you have absolutely no social life cause your head would have to be buried in your phone all day everyday, to do that many texts. I dont get kids these days im only 23 so i guess i am part of the whole tech generation, but i cant understand how people spend hours and hours on myspace, face book, and texting. i actually enjoy personal face to face interations.
why do people hate on boost because of the urban youth demographic. Since business people, hillbillies, and many other people. who could afford NEXTEL had NEXTEL, Nextel made a prepaid version to target the demographic that wanted Nextel but where unable due to credit, and other factors. Even though sprint fucked up Nextel,(story for another time). and most nextel customers left sprint/nextel all together; Nextel subscribers went from 20 million down to 10 million, all the while sprint was expanding and fixing up the nextel network.(mainly in late 07 and 08). they have much space to fill and are know marketing towards all demographics. So i dont see why people relate boost so much to be only for thugs and gangbangers, and urban rapper wannabe youth. cause its just basically prepaid NEXTEL, everything is the same except some features on the phones, and the lack of NEXTELS Massive business data applications. SO for someone like me who has worked for nextel corporate and has had NEXTEL Service for 8 years. I wanna go to boost cause it offers Same NEXTEL service, unlimitied everything for only 50 dollars. Also I would never buy a boost phone, just take a boost sim card and put it in my nextel phone so my backplate says Nextel. and not boost.
Does it come with preloaded trance songs, from tiesto, van buren. so i can pop some pills and roll with my trance phone.
I think im gonna start a company to compete with monster wire. maybe ill call it RETSNOM Cables. Inc. (monster backwards) ill make them all cool and hip looking like monster does, put some pretty colors on the connectors. and sell them for half the price of monster cables. Even half the price of monster is still too expensive but if i make the too cheap, my wires will just be part of the crowd of other wires and wont sell, i think its the price that makes people think its better. which is weird cause the specs should, and no ordinary person would understand real specs for wiring, unless they where in electrical engineer. so half price of monster is the way to go, to differentiate from the cheaper and compete with monster. Than i can destroy monster cable inc. get rich and know i did something good. ill even donate much of my profits to charity. so i dont feel like an ass for high priced cables.
Sprint this is all you have, come on. I see the post yesterday with atts all new touchscreen samsungs and lg, and sprint remakes the stupid instinct. i know theres a lot of phones down the road in 09 for sprint. but its seems like there mostly the same things in different forms. i.e. all the htc phones coming out. now wonder sprint is goin under they have the best plans out there 99.99 unlimited everything. no other company even comes close. but between the horrible in store expereinces, with their horrible retail reps; who care more how a holstered phone looks on them, and makes them feel like their hotshots. and their horrible selection of phones, havent seen a nice high end flip phone since like the m610. And then we find out yesterday hesse made 14 million dollars in compensation and benefits, for what he didnt do shit, except make stupid pointless black and white commercials. not to mention destroying nextel. which now their trying to bring back from the dead. wow sorry for such a rant had to get stuff off my mind; I worked for nextel as a sales rep than was transferred over to a sprint store as sprint slowly closed down nextel stores. And wow difference in corporate culture was incredible.
yes just what i wanted a nextel slider i can put on boosts unlimited 50 dollar plan, i was hoping just the other day for an iden slider. and bam my dreams come true. now can we get off these horrible color schemes moto. i mean the i 465 iden qwerty looks like a cool fone minus the weird red color accents all around. hopefully this is just a prototype, so the color will change. and lets get rid of those cheap little plasticky looking keys on that. keys similar to the rokr z6m slider would be perfect.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
