While I like the comments "down-ranked into oblivion" part of the new comment system, the having to click to read the replies is annoying. Sometimes the best comments are the replies. Also, could you think about bringing back the entirely blue "Highest ranked" comments? The little blue bar just isn't the same. One more thing, with the old comment system, when I up or down-ranked someone, I could just click + or - and keep reading down the page. Now everytime I do that it returns to the top of the page and I have to scroll down and find my place again. Sorry for my little rant but these few things would make commenting more enjoyable in my opinion.
9 yr old girls who don't need phones but have convinced their daddies that they need them?
Gives a whole new meaning to "Pushing someone's buttons."
This could be a good idea, if the seatbelts are always worn correctly. But, I remember that when I was a kid I didn't always wear the seatbelt the way it should have been worn. I remember sometimes putting the seatbelt behind me so all I had was a lapbelt, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who ever did this.
Looks like someone who drives a Nissan Cube may like the LG Chocolate Touch...
I've only used the original instinct in store, so I don't know about the s30, but make the portrait keyboard so that it can be used like a normal keyboard. (using t9)
I would think that it could be useful for the people who live in sunny states such as Florida or California. They could just put their phone on their dashboard when they're out driving, give it a little more juice.
Do you know if there will be any left in the Naples/ Ft. Myers area?
I was told you just have to have unlimited data and messages to get the Instinct.
Looks like they just made the buttons on the keyboard smaller to fit the #'s in. I hope this one doesn't have the software problems like the other; I just got mine replaced b/c of that...

I think the 1st one looks better...looks uglier and more like the Rant...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
