I think he is referring to the excessive dealer mark-ups caused by the low inventory.
Copy and paste is a big deal for enterprise users. If they are serious about business users, they might want to bump copy and paste up on the priority list...
I agree, make the next beetle a true entry level car, and price it right. The base price should be significantly less then a base rabbit, but it needs to drive like a VW, that is the key.

I also wouldn't be opposed to a large canvass sunroof!
@hotrodz - Saabs depreiciate quite a bit more then Audis. ever price out a used A4 versus a used 9-3. Look at autotrader and you will see what I mean.
MINI has done extremely well in consumer reports testing which is longer term, that is what really matters!

My 2006 MINI Cooper S has been flawless...I quess I am another stupid one.
the ford focus that my wife had before her Jetta was such a foul car, We had the same 7 or 8 recalls and it was built like a tin can. Our current model Jetta has been trouble-free and built like a vault. I have had 6 VW's total and they have all been very good cars.

There are plenty of other cars out there that have less then stellar reputations, yet people seem to really bash VW's.

Let's be fair you talking about Fords not Toyotas....
Yeah, because Fords are so reliable!
We have an early release 2005.5 Jetta, with around 40k on it. This car has been flawless since day one. it's a nice solidly built car. I would recommend it.
Same here, my wife drives an 05 New Jetta and my sister drives an 06 GTI. Both cars have also been flawless...

I have owned a total of 6 VW's over the years and they have all been very good cars. In fact the only time in my life when I was stranded by a car, it was by a honda civic. stranded twice by the same honda.
I wonder if it is possible to use the iphone with your corporate mail, if your company doesn't provide it for you. with my blackberry i can configure my work email account through the Blackberry internet server from the t-mobile website. It doesn't give me instant push email, but the 10 minute delay is manageable.

If I can't configure the iphone with my work email, it would be useless for me.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
