I will sleep so well that Friday morning.
Fish with fricken' laser beams!
I always sleep so well on the Friday after Thanksgiving. After making the mistake once I refuse to waste my family's and my time on these Black Friday "deals."
I don't own an Xbox 360 yet (I'm not a true gamer) and this still infuriates me. In my brief search, Microsoft's unsultingly small 512MB memory module seems to be the single option. And then they charge an obscene $30 dollars for it when 2GB of flash memory can be had for under $10.

And any of the claims that "it has been exhaustively tested to work with Xbox 360 blah, blah, blah...." is a further insult. IT'S MEMORY!!!

I was wondering if the console was cheap enough for me buy yet ... I guess not.
"... If you have to go through all that, why not just buy a Mac?"

Even if upgrading to a Mac was easier, you'd then be stuck with a Mac and then, what's the point?
What is it with Engadget's obstinant refusal to correct glaring typos? It's too simple a fix not to do. Do they want to look like idiots?
BITS Limited (www.bitsltd.net)

I bought mine direct from them and I love it. One, for the 12 foot cord I was able to order it with and BECAUSE it is the kind that monitors one device to turn others on and off, which is what works for me. It's three always-on outlets are normally enough for me.

I got mine for $53 in January of '08. I don't know what power strips they offer now.
When the back cover is off there is nothing that looks like it'd be a MicroSD slot, not that the camera focusses on any of it.
It should have a 1/4" jack, just because. THEN it'd be worthy of the Fender name. And not mere-wood, but a 3-color sunburst treatment. Actually being able to plug your guitar into it isn't required, but damn that'd be cool.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
