A related and just as awesome device is the Belkin In-Desk USB hub. It's a powered hub that fits in those holes for cables in your desk.

Most 3D development these days is just chaining operations together for the graphics hardware to do. Needing lots of speed in your language to process math, isn't all that necessary anymore. You just say, "Hey graphics chip, take this polygon, transform it like this, move it here, etc." I'm sure javascript is more than up to the task.

Think of the canvas api in modern browsers. Javascript isn't actually drawing the polygons, the browser is with machine language. Javascript is just telling that interface to draw a polygon.

When are they going to enable HD on the web. I have my HDTV hooked up to my PC. I can't wait until I can stream HD in my browser.

iphone firmware 2.1!
The same thing is happening to my month old iphone 3g dock cable
My experience has been excruciating... I've been waiting since Saturday in hopes that my direct fulfillment with AT&T will get filled.

As I wait the story gets worse and worse... I think I'm never going to see that iPhone...
30fps, lame. I'd much rather get the Aiptek HDV21X and get 720p @ 60fps
Who cares if it's a crappy ad. The fact that there is close to a hundred comments about it and I'm sure most of us sent the link to someone at least once. That's sounds like an effective viral campaign to me.
Whelp, looks like I'll be punished again for being a loyal customer.
The difference is my wife will murder me for a $900 camera, but a $169 dollar camera keeps me alive.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
