I haven't scanned these posts yet, so I don't know if it's been said. But, there is one thing and one thing only that prevents me from even considering the Pre. It needs a LANDSCAPE KEYBOARD. Our eyes work in panorama, so why neuter the landscape properties of the screen by putting the keyboard slider where it is on the Pre?

I don't necessarily envy the enV3, but I am in desperate need of a new phone, and Verizon seems to be the best choice for the metro area.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.

"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
