Is anyone holding out for Meebo over Beejive?
Why do people have the rational that if you got the iPhone 3G, which is a subsidized device, and you're still in a 2-yr contract with AT&T, that AT&T should let you replace it with the 3GS? They're still re-couping their investment from your iPhone 3G.

Hence the extra cost to upgrade while in contract.
Or perhaps the issue is that Apple does business with the MPAA and RIAA - and they would whine if Apple indirectly supported such an app.
I just prefer using my 80gb iPod. While streaming is technologically-sexxy, it's easier to just listen to music on my iPod. Streaming takes a lot of battery life out of a mobile device especially.
Yes it does - I know my Macbook charger uses 0.5 watts when plugged in to the socket, without being plugged to a Mac. Same with the iPhone charger as well.
This is an unfair post - people are misinterpreting the message as a snide remark. Photosynth is a company that Microsoft recently acquired. The company is keen on being Mac-compatible, and their technology is awesome. Obviously, if you were to release a product, it's a good idea to support the 90% of users first.

Go Photosynth!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
