I let my friend at Isky Racing Cams know about the liquidation. Looks like they might be picking up some bargains.
I'm getting laid off. And I need a new phone. Fun.
Just to confirm, have you used the DUN on the phone yet? Sometimes when they are crippled, they will display in a bluetooth list, but when the dial-up is attempted, it will give an error message. Thanks!
The reason why I asked was that T-Mobile hath been disabling tethering on all their recent feature phones. See the SE TM506 made after October.
DUN Tethering available? Could you check to make sure? That would be great! I was told earlier that it was going to be disabled.
Looking at my usage on T-Mobile for the last moneth (and using Edge!): 3.5 Gb!

Of course T-Mobile Total Internet is my only internet service, and most of that was updating Debian Linux on my home PC to Lenny. However, Ich do at least one Linux install/update per moneth so a cap would not be good for me.
Long Beach (and the greater LA area) are now live!
It runneth the A200 feature phone OS, like the W760, C902, &c.
Of course a rumored software update that will remove tethering to a computer/laptop kind of takes the shine off of this handset. Browsing with Opera Mini on HSDPA is not a lot faster than using Edge on my SE K550i or UMTS on my Nokia 6263, meaning not muchel of a boot. Using this phone as a cheap modem using T-Mobile's Total Internet ($20 a moneth) had a lot of folk excited, but with this rumor, now many are disappointed and holding off their purchase.
I'll keep all of it except the psp cables and the Ooma VOIP box.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
