Was down in philly for a few hours. I just got service back a few minutes ago. 3G and voice seem to work, but no texts.
Sweet!! Does this mean no more stupid "god loves you, pass it on" kinda chain texts!? No more crazy god recruters trying to get me to join their facebook group!? No more chain emails!? Great! Now make it a sin to knock or doors and hand flyers out in parking lots!

God hates tech stuff, get your crappy music out of iTunes or your going to hell. Why are you even reading this? Don't let "god" catch you!
GV mobile is on Cydia now! Not made by google but works just the same.
Can someone do a study about how cops sitting on the side of the road with a radar gun contributes to accidents. Nothing is worse then someone slamming the breaks or cutting you off to avoid a ticket. Every accident I have been in (3) has involved a cop hiding on the side of the road. There are 4 spots they hide on my travels to and from work, all of them are littered with broken class, random car parts and skid marks. They should be driving with traffic looking for more then just speeders. I’m sure most of those other violations they could be getting contribute to more deaths then speeding. Stop being a road hazard and catch the moving road hazards!
My iPhone is my only remote now. I recently decided to dump my dish service. Now I have a mini with a 1TB external, hooked to a 37in. LCD and surround sound. I use my iPhone to control everything. I can find everything on cable via boxee and hulu. Anything I can’t find with them I can get from torrents (Boxee has a handy torrent plug-in.) or via safari. No need at all for a DVR. I use iTunes to rent and buy movies and buy music. All controlled with my handy iPhone. I can even control it all remotely over the internet with a free DSN service and jaadu. I leave everything on, it all goes into sleep mode eventually and is woke by the iphone.

Best part is everything can be viewed on my Iphone one way or another, be it streaming or synced or downloaded directly to the phone.
Meh, don’t own blueray and never will. I don’t even buy DVD’s or CD’s anymore. Optical media is already obsolete to me. I don’t care how great the picture quality is or how much better the audio sounds. Downloading music and video on demand whenever I want were ever I want is the way to go. Beats waiting in line at wolyworld or fighting your way through a mall and crushes the price of any optical media and the quality difference is probably not even noticeable to the average joe. In a few years it will be on par or even surpass blueray, probably wouldn’t matter if it didn’t, people like convenience and cheaper.

Optical media is dead.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
