Man, I'd want this just as an internet tablet. It looks perfect for it. I don't even want it as a phone, just as an awesome companion device. I think Nokia should spread this into Internet Tablets and beat Google to it.
AT&T will also make it mandatory to pay an arm and a leg for any satphone you buy from them.
Reading this article reminded me of Windows Live Family Safety. I think this provides control similarly to this through using their services. Think you just sign in, set up their account, and edit the settings online through your Windows Live account. Haven't tried it thoroughly myself though.
Please, I've been mostly a good kid this year....
Make a piece of hardware where I can touch type and move a mouse cursor with one hand. Then I'll be a happy camper. Would really help when I'm trying to do homework, but still want to chat on WLM.
Makes me wonder who still buys these iPhones, do people go through these things like hot cakes or something? Then again where do all the DSes go as well. I'm a bit sick of seeing iPhones in every child's hands these days, it has really turned into a toy in my eyes. I hope someone is able to give a proper smartphone that can appeal to an older audience, and not to kiddies. Same can be said with Blackberries. Then again, Sony's tactic didn't work against the DS.
Those a nice specs. Reminds me of the specs inside my Dreamcast, would be awesome if this thing could play those. But back on topic, that really is a nice looking phone.
Hope the hinges on these things are durable. That's one reason I didn't really like convertable tablets, you push on them, then they bend back a bit, kinda messing up the resistance.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
