The iPhone would cost a hell of a lot more without a plan from AT&T, infact, ebay has them for around $600. And they've been out for a few months now. Give any HTC product a couple months and you can find them for probably around $600 as well without a plan.
This phone will be about $250-300 with a phone plan. Without mandatory, overpriced, sub-par AT&T data plan. Oh, and ill be able to load any program I want on this phone, unlike the communist inspired Apple iPhone.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
