what the crap. it's ranked down so hard that i can't even see it so i can rank it down!

*ranks it down anyways*
Really Jon? Go stand on your laptop and take a picture both before and after. Inquiring minds want to know.... but aren't quite brave enough to do so on our own laptops.
@ Drew Green

No more or less racist than saying "looking at an average group of white americans on a beach and picking out 'the skinny one' is like trying to do the same in your typical pack of elephant seals."
John: spoken like a true dookie. It's a good thing that duke fans are known far and wide for the level of class they bring to the court...

* rolls eyes *

(though to be fair, dookies anent NEARLY as bad as Maryland fans...)
I will say that unless you have at LEAST 20/20 vision and good dexterity/not too banana-handed, you need not apply. It works great for me for what I use it for. (I wanted a computer to take around with me wherever/whenever on my school rotations for on-the-fly SOAPS, drug information, and various other crap)
Well, believe it or not, it runs GREAT on Vista as long as you optimize some settings. That is, turn off indexing, some graphics crap, etc etc etc. I just got the old atom version of it and I absolutely love it. Granted it's very niche, but I wanted a computer that is literally pocketable (fits into a lab coat pocket) to take with me on my rotations.

If you need an extremely small computer that runs a full OS, there IS no other option. I have good eyes and can type up to 50 wpm on it, so to ME it works great. (your mileage/eyesight/hands may vary)
Thirded... Sansa Clip's are incredible for the price/size.
Bleh, i like how you completely ignored the whole "no ipod shuffle" b/c of the whole itunes thing.

I hope the ".1" part isn't near the hard drive, lest there be some issues that arise like in the Acer's.... maybe they should play that U2 song and see if it crashes out the hard drive as a quality control check or something.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
