I'll try to get a screenie up at home after my shift.
I'm surprised this hasn't come up yet?

Anyone working for Rogers KNOWS there's an 8GB 3GS launching soon. It's already up in our Hardware Upgrade inventories for iPhones. I stumbled upon it by accident the other day when processing a regular 8GB 3G upgrade. There were two SKU's in the system and one (which was the one I selected) specifically said 8GB 3GS ($99).

Coincidence? Definitely not.

Unfortuanely not. I have no word on pricing/plans yet. The Globus was the phone I was refering to.
I just got an internal Rogers email on this one actually. The official list price on a 3yr is now $29.99 ($79 on a 2 yr/$129 on a 1yr) and strangely the spec sheet they provided to us doesn't include the GPS.
Scary thing about this is that I have had encountered 2 chargers catch fire in the last 2 months working at a Rogers store. Wonder if it's the same brand. Apparently a representative from the company told me it was the first time they ever heard of it happening and to send them in for an investigation.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
