RIM is amazing, so many new models this season! How such as small ltd can compete with giants like Apple, MS, Google etc? Also the software industry for BBs arouses. Such a nice projects like http://www.blackberryfreeware.org/ , http://www.crackberry.com/ , blackberryforums.com, just awesome!

Indeed this is nothing new at all. The idea of an integrated software repository and manager exists for many many years with almost all Linux (desktop) distros. The are already many software directories for Android apps, like http://www.android-freeware.org/ So, Google just putting it together. Let's live and see how effective they'll engineer that.

@ Ran, I think T-Mobile will never choose WiFi over GPS. They are too much of VoIP apps, which will rely rather on hot spots than use their data plan.

I saw some VoIP apps for BB recently at http://www.blackberryfreeware.org/

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.

"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
