Not only during his tenure did he manage to dramatically slow advance of telecommunications infastructure in Australia in futile attempts to keeps Telstra's monopoly hold on the market. His actions also pissed the government off so much that telstra has been excluded from the process of setting up the nations new national broadband network. Likely to seriously harm shareholders prospects in the future.

A little give in the early days would have been the right thing to do and would have almost certainly have positioned the carrier better in the long run.

Good riddance!
If i could get all my text books for it id be sold in a second. Lugging books isn't fun. Im not holding my breath tho.

Other then that holding a book at home is a huge pleasure in this digital world. This isn't needed outside of uni's imo. That coming from a gadget freak like me too.
Wait wtf? My nick was Bluepanda now it is Aussie? oh well.
Ac ryan also makes a similar product to what i just mentioned. It is roughly the same price but bulkier and heavier. It does have about 40% more capacity from memory.
Or you could just spend 50 bucks and buy a phone charger with a lithuim ion rechargable battery in it. I got the rather interestingly named Harry2 from xpalpower. I bought mine at the duty free on the way through changi airport in Singapore. They have a web site at http://www.xpalpower.com/us/

Its small. (smaller then my LG KU970) As thick and wide but not as tall.
Apparently lasts 2000 charges. Even if i get 100 it will pay for itself. Compared to AA based units.
Comes with most common phone tips
Can charge anything that charges from USB
They will send you any charging tip for just about any recent phone/mp3/gps/pda etc etc if they don't have it for free. (up too 2 a year, you have to pay 4bucks postage)
Will recharge itself from USB
Most importantly good for the environment.

Sure this sounds like viral marketing. Its not, i just can't understand how such a good product went under the radar.
These H3's are pathetic vehicles and i dont see the police wanting to use them much outside of patrolling club districts. Now if the police where converting their entire fleet to nissian patrols with big obnoxious bull bars/headlights i might be worried about the tank intimidation issue.

This plan will make all those fully sick pricks who cause all the problems in club districts take notice of the ploice presence.

I can see it now "yo bro check that fully sick hummer, oh sh*t its the po po. lts time to bail". I think this is a brillinat idea.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
