I recieved the same response from their Chat support...

I expressed my frustration and confusion as the "beta' versions worked with the Slingbox AV/Classic....

This is nothing more then a money making ploy ... they have a product that is in high demand and they are trying to force upgrades...

The funny thing is I would have paid up to 50 dollars for the software... now they are gonna get no more of my money ... what BS

FYI

DirectTV's "SuperFan" package for football alows you to track your fantasy football starters.. You enter your lineup and there is a "popup" that lets you know about points yardage etc.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.

"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
