Took a lil longer than I expected but everything appears to be working fine... not quite that "New phone feel" i was hoping for but an improvement nonetheless... i'll still prob get the 3Gs for the speed increase. I hate lag....
Hi guys... I work for VZW so I can help answer a few questions... Here ya go:

Beginning February 15, our new Friends & Family options let customers select 5 or 10 numbers for their calling group, and the calls to or from anyone in this group will not count against their plan minutes.

There's no charge to sign up for Friends & Family and no charge, ever, to make changes to a Friends & Family calling directory.

With Friends & Family, customers don't have to use up their minutes to call the people they talk with all the time, even if they use another wireless carrier or a landline.

Single line customers can select up to 5 numbers to add to their Friends & Family calling group.

Family SharePlan customers can select up to 10 numbers that will be shared among plan members.
Requirements

To take advantage of Friends & Family, customers need to be on a qualifying Nationwide Single Line plan with 900 or more Anytime Minutes.

Family SharePlan customers will need to be on a Nationwide plan with 1,400 or more Anytime Minutes.
Any time you see the Wii in the Best Buy ad, they will be in the loacl store on Sunday morning. I unloaded about 90 yesterday. They stay in the back until the ad drops because dozens of customers have complained in the past about advertising of a product that is not available at the time the ad comes out. By the way, Best Buy will not be getting any more shipments in after this week until after Christmas has passed.
I work for Verizon Wireless and it's true. Effective 09/21/08, a Month to Month Agreement option will be available for customers that pay full retail price for a device or provide their own device. This option allows customers to activate service and upgrade devices without a 1 or 2-year agreement. MTM customers can terminate their service at any time (effective on their next bill cycle date) without incurring an early termination fee. Customer credit checks apply.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
