Guess you won't be buying it then. The thumbwheel is as dead as the monochrome display.
Weird, why would Verizon need such a device. I thought its wonderful network worked everywhere. That is why its users put up with its higher prices and device crippling policies. Now they are saying this isn't so? Speaking of higher Verizon prices, I wonder how much they will be charging for this.
Sour grapes? The iphone has been out a little over a year and they are basically cleaning up in the smart phone market. Now Windows Mobile 7 probably won't be out until 2010. Sounds like M$ was asleep at the switch again, the same way they were with IE6.
Of course Moto won't release it here in the US, it doesn't look like a RAZR.
It is only for Verizon here in the US.
@SkyKing, the Diamond you are thinking about is for Sprint which is CDMA and yes is 3G. The GSM model, just like the Touch HD, does not have the 3G frequencies in it for US 3G use.
I think the iphone is exclusive until 2010.
Does HTC hate the US. First the Diamond without 3G for American GSM, now this. Do they know how well it would sell if it had global HSDPA. Maybe they are just retarded.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
