Good job Engadget for REPORTING the HOLE STORY!!
^^ Not so great job in grammar.
Actually i think it is worth it. I am a 3 year subscriber, so i am locked into my rate until the end of the contract. 20 bucks a month for the ease of use and convenience? i will pay it. I spend more than that on beer each month(or sometimes week.. This isnt a whole lot of money, and i'll keep my series 2 Tivo right where it is for a long time.
i sure would like to know, i would also love to know whycingular is such a pain in the *** when you want to buy a new phone.
anothe reaon i'll stick with my Treo for now. The 650's keyboard isn't the best, but i cant pull the keys out with a scribe like that
If you are old enough to remember the Jitterbug (i am not) you'll appreciate the keys, but you wont be able to read that screen. useless
and he does it for around a grand a pop...
Wow, Engadget stumbled on something really cool. and now that i am excited about a phone named Helsinki phone in the future, it will probalbly be another squandered opportunity, and it will be named something like licorice
Price??? i want 1 but i need to see if it is worth it yet.
i think this is a superb idea, and i have been waiting to get my passportuntil this comes out actually. The sooner the better
This might just be a device thats internal to a new gen segway, the electronics uint made in China, and the rest of the unit probably still made in the US. The founder of segway owns his own island and has his own country now (no kidding) so it wouldnt surprise me if prodction moved offshore.
godmode, i have trouble believing you when you cant spell guarantee. i think thats what you're trying to spell. I hope it is a wifi phone, makes me feel better about just buying my treo.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
