A nice toy, but with a 2 hour battery life it's not a good security device. Dogs still win.
I'll wait a few days before upgrading to be on the safe side and I suggest running the poll after a week.
These days you need to wait about a month after a new update comes out for anything.
$360 is crazy. I'll keep the wires.
Flash is definitely needed, but I can live without Java.
It will be interesting to see if they can outsell the wii at $199. They'll need a big marketing campaign to get the word out.
is should be if above
iPhone 3G is you want access anywhere. If you only need access where you have wi-fi then the ipod touch, the samsung q1 ultra (the cheaper one and try to get XP instead of Vista if you can), or the Nokia N810. I've used all three and they're all good devices. If I was forced to choose, I'd go with the iPhone 3G.
Thanks, but the whole point of having the iphone is that I can view the normal site.
It was news to me. Thanks for the heads up.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
