In body IS is an over rated feature. Lenses that need it will have it built in.

What isn't an over rated feature is the fact that Panasonic's Autofocus IS ACTUALLY USEABLE.

This posting from Engadget is especially annoying. In every way the GF-1 is superior to the E-P1 except looks (that's pure opinion). When it comes to actually taking pictures the GF-1 is simply going to be a much better camera to use. People wouldn't believe it according to Nilay's writing, but then again Nilay (and it seems all of the Engadget staff) doesn't have a clue about cameras.
There's no rumor to it. Just like there was no rumor to it that the D300 had AF on the same level as the D3. The D3, D3x, D700, D300, and D300s all have the same AF sensor. One might argue the D300/D300s have a small advantage in this area because the AF sensor covers a larger amount of the image sensor due to the D300/D300s using cropped sensors.
Adam Zey... the WD drive never reaches 7200RPM.

Also, a higher spindle rate means a lower latency. Which is a big deal in normal usage.
Sorry but that drive is not 7200RPM. It is mislabeled. In fact, Western Digital has never given the spindle rate for that drive. They've simply stated it is between 5400RPM and 7200RPM, most efforts in pinning it down put it closer to the below 6000RPM area.

Plus WD themselves have it marked as such on their site.

Sorry but... you got ripped off.
He speaks well, he seems very unselfish for a shooter, he spent more than one year in college, his father was a long time NBA veteran, and comes across as being legitimately intelligent. There is a lot to like about all of that when last years two best rookies were/are in major academic scandals.
Please learn to read. As I have already pointed out more than once; Ubuntu can run on ARM based hardware and would achieve the same battery life ranges. This isn't about the OS, they're all efficient enough where it counts, it is about the hardware it can run on. All of the Linux distributions can be ported to ARM fairly easily. Chrome OS is NOT UNIQUE in that regard AT ALL. Why would you want a cloud-only, web app only OS when you can get one running Ubuntu Remix on the same ARM hardware that offers a full fledged OS with and can also access ALL OF THE SAME ONLINE FEATURES. Really this isn't even a question, the answer is obvious.

Ubuntu Remix vs Chrome OS. Give me Ubuntu Remix any day. I can already get Remix.
A "light weight" Linux distro is not going to improve battery life. Modern day operating systems from Windows 7, to OS X, to Ubuntu, to whatever use very little resources when idling. In fact, the area you should pay attention the MOST is the browser. You know what browser currently uses the most resources per tab? Chrome. The main improvements come from running on the ARM processors and their related platforms (such as Tegra, etc). This can be done already with Ubuntu's netbook centered OS.

Again, you're completely ignorant and you're painting a picture that is not the case. You can already integrate Google's online applications into an OS. Using either Chrome's method in Windows or even Prism now offered by Mozilla for Firefox.

This OS already exists and in a more feature complete form.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
