Think I'm going to have to pass on the Cliq. The hardware is just too underwhelming. Same old dated processor that the G1 uses and I heard that the Blur UI is a total battery killer. Now the Droid looks impressive. Come on T-Mobile, give us some killer Android phones!!
How did T-Mobile shaft anybody?? Seems to me like T-Mobile is playing peacemaker. I'm so tired of T-Mobile being blamed for this when this entire fiasco is the fault of Danger/Microsoft/Hitachi. It's a shame that this will probably mark the end of the Sidekick line.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! #@%#$%#%!@#$#@$$ @#^^&W#$%$#~ DAMMIT!!!
I never win anything, but maybe this is a good time to start! C'mon Engadget! Daddy needs a new cell phone!
I agree with Wolfi. I think T-Mobile is just throwing that out there to see how the 3G network will hold up. So many people have WiFi in their homes now and hell even most restaurants and cafes have WiFi. Just use the WiFi when you are in a place that has WiFi, if you're not, then use your 3G. But I still think a 1GB cap is being a little over zealous. Even at&t doesn't restrict you that much.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
