I work at tmobile and you guys are all wrong. The phone is selling for 179.99 at full discount. if you are not eligible it will be 300.00...no application locks will not be on the phone and you will be able to download third party apps and you cannot request an unlock code for the phone. It is going to be like the sidekick with not being able to unlock the phone....The phone will also have visual voicemail and we also are not releasing the actual phone until the 22nd of october. Yes, you can order the phone for presale, the only thing is you better be sure that you want the phone because you CANNOT cancel the order. So I highly suggest most of you to actually go into the store when it comes out and use the phone for a sec because if you don't like the phone you are going to run into a lot of trouble with your account. Speculation gets annoying after a while. Unless you know exactly what is going on. It is best to not say anything at all. :)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
