Take from the rich give to the poor
I have been using this for a few weeks now. It Just works. http://loco4local.com/ Live Search for mobile incredible program from Microsoft for finding places and directions on the go free. http://www.skyfire.com/ skyfire windows mobile web browser see flash on your web page just works.
The charger hole is on the top of the phone. Why not put charging hole bottom of phone. Hard to charge and talk at same time with wire coming out of top.
Archos you need to update your web firmware on the 605 wifi from less than a year ago. You have stopped any updates to your web browser so flash videos are not working any more. No youtube, no other streaming stuff.
amazing how ipods made .mp3 books possible.
My phone is so old and keeps locking up. This phone would make my messed up life a lot better.
netflicks gives some of its members "FREE" unlimited streaming movies. Why would I as a Block Buster subscriber (they mail me movies like netflicks) want to pay for what the competition includes. This pisses me off to no end. Block Buster is CHEAP. Not only do they raise my fees for my subscription every X miss. What a nice gift that is. but now this. I am seriously considering canceling my subscription and getting netflicks
These units have the largest Hard Drive Storage out their. Can play a DVD with out any compression just drag over ripped DVD. These units as a video player kill any apple portable products at the moment. I use the Archos 605 and it is a work horse for playing video. have used it for 10 months now and it still works great. can stream video from my office pc / mac to my archos in my bedroom tv (UPNP). My only regret is that Archos almost doubled its storage from my Archos 605 160 GB to this model witch is over 200 GB of storage for movies to go. Any one want to buy my 605.......
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
