Looking good guys, you're right it was a bit of a shock but I was expecting something big this morning after the buzz last night! Good to see no one was squatting on my name!
Oooooo prizes. It's good to see people trying to help us find the gems in all the rubbish that's out there.
Maybe it'll come with a magnified screen instead. One that facilitates reading without glasses. The anti-Viao P if you will.

We wrote our thoughts down at Pixelated Geek:

Really hope Steve manages to check his health problems not only for himself and his family but also to allow him and Apple to have a nice celebratory hand over at some point and not forced and morbid because of illness.

Get well soon Steve

Is it me or is this going to be another time sink? I was in the closed beta and it took me ages to set up the avatar and explore. The download speeds from the servers were also slow meaning moving to another area for the first time was a bit tedious. Still these things will hopefully all be sorted out in the end. I would still prefer to have a cartoon character to run around as rather than a creepily accurate avatar.

Does anyone still play RFOM? I mean free is free, but I'm unlikely to want to step back and go trudging through the UK. Why not port the maps to R2 and lets us get our nostalgia kick from the better engine and improved gameplay?

SantaSack, sweet. Now all you need are some reindeer costumes and maybe you could make a Santa scene. On a related note, anyone see that awesome Rock advert for LBP on TV? It was a play through of an awesome Metal Rock based level. Finally Sony is actually advertising something in the UK related to the PS3.

It would be nice to see some of the original maps from RFOM in R2. I don't know how much coding that would take to port them over but it would be good for more maps and for a bit of nostalgia.

Got to love free stuff in these penny-pinching days.

Can't wait for this, going to start putting the hard earned away for a pre-order. Got a chance at a hands on at Leicester Square yesterday and it was awesome truly marvellous.
Got hands on with this last night at the Leicester Square event (http://gadgetsgamesandstuff.blogspot.com/2008/12/killzone-2-takes-over-vue-leicester.html) and I have to say I was really impressed. This is definitely a pre-order for me. I thought Resistance 2 was good, but this is going to blow it out of the water. Roll on February! I truly can't wait.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
