this would be a great upgrade from my compaq
Would it work on T-MO? I'd love the phone but if it won't work on my network then no worries.
And you might want to read the article again.....
He never said.....
"and its decision to wait until next year to ship an Android 1.6 device "
What he SAID was....
and its decision to wait until next year to ship an Android device....
@ Jack

Yes I can see how ATTmight have a problem with the way Verizon made the ad. The POINT of the debate(not the point on your head) is this:
ATT can be as pissed as they want, and yes some people out there might be ignorant about the difference, but they have no legal legs to really stand on here. The ad CLEARLY states on the bottom of the map 3G Coverage, it does NOT say it's ATT's total coverage.
They need to stop being panty wastes and go spend some loot on actually making Verizon's life difficult with a good system.

5 year T-Mo customer who switched because I was sick of having to correct ATT's bills for them over the phone because of bullshit charges that didn't exist. No problems with T-Mo in those 5 yrs other than maybe would like a lil more high speed coverage in Louisiana.
That would be important if it was actually F-117 Stealth Fighters in the ad.
Was thinking the same thing Adam. Especially considering the products that aren't strictly screens...?...yeah probably crap.
So the ONLY saving grace in this article and photos are the Beautiful women holding them.
Dude....big +1 for the Primus nod.
If you look closely at both sides of the bezel, the camera button would get in the way of the back sliding in any direction. My guess is the gap is the separation from the front to the battery cover.
Kieran,
What you're saying is completely true, IF this was a case in the United States. Your point would hold up completely as it should, but we're not talking about the U.S. copyright laws here. This is happening in China and thus would probably go in favor of the Chinese company, not Apple.

Sorry,
Epic Fail
@zapp , Do you honestly think that after shelling out huge $$ this guy used a garbage charger? Would YOU? I wouldn't do that to the CRAP Motorola I used to have.

Do you think these guys do NOT make mistakes? Or is it more likely that the Apple engineers aren't the cyborgs that don't make mistakes that all you fanbois think they are? They're human. Shit happens. The iPhone is a great device I'll give Apple that. But it's made by humans.

Now I do think that Brian down below is probably right lol. Apple and or AT@T will probably try to give this guy an iTunes gift card instead of a new phone. lol@ AT@T customer service and from what I've heard Apples as well.

Samsung Galaxy.....Bring it!!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
