When the ones by here closed, the last few weeks they were selling all kinds of HDTV cables, optical cable etc from the displays. I got tons of Component and DHMI cables for very cheap, you had to check them as these were the cables used for the display units, but most were better quality than what they sold. (At least on paar with the overpriced Monster Cable in terms of quality.)

In northern NJ they closed stores that performed well. (i.e. Paramus). I knew someone that worked for their security and told me that the bean counters believed that anyone in Northern NJ would pay $6 in tolls and $35 to park just to shop at the CompUSA left open in Manhattan. Bad management and poor decisions they made.

I believe another issue is quality control. When the RAZR first came out, the quality and build was good. Now they are garbage and break even if you look at them wrong. Hopefully Motorola will improve on this.

I hope this does not cause me to loose the ability to set my callerID on my Asterisk voip system. When I forward my calls to my cell, I like being able the change the callerID to the person that is calling so that on my cell phone, I know who is calling.

Windows-based ATM machine hacked, gets Painted

Believe it or not, Bank of America uses Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, and Windows XP on most of their ATMs. However, they are locked down to the bare minimum and it’s only able to run their software and nothing else. My wife used to do security work at The Bank of New York at one of their data centers in NJ. Lot’s of NT machines and AS/400’s

There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience.
