I just hope no one on Comcast wants to download a lot of HD television from itunes in addition to their other internet traffic...
And this is exactly why autoblog shys away from politics at all. I kinda wish they had stayed away from this story as well. It's just going to bring out the political trolls.
I dont understand the comparison of "Scorsese winning eventually" to Britney. His level of filmmaking is in the stratusphere compared to her level of music making. At least in my opinion.
I'd prefer the method you mention "people take the script and look at what product is needed/used" but it will never work that way. These product placements are setup well in advance of a script being written which is unfortunate.

With the case of Psych, I think the writers were able to make the best use of an undesireable situation. I am willing to bet that it was forced on them to put Dunkin Donuts into the show, but they are really talented and were able to due it to less detriment than Eureka did.

Smallville's gum episode was pitiful though. I really disliked that ad.
This is just getting silly. I love both Psych and Eureka but when I saw these instances you mentioned, I was pulled out of the reality bubble and it took me a bit to get back into it.

I hope this sort of advertising doesn't push its way into all of my favorite shows - it can stay in Reality TV. I don't watch that.
'high resolution' audio? It may be just me, but I don't think of audio when I hear the word resolution...

I don't know if better audio discs are what the music buying public is clamoring for. If anything, it's going the opposite way with download music. Slightly lower quality (though I can't really tell the difference between a CD and an Itunes purchase) but an easier purchase method.

One of the reasons this episode is always listed in the top 3 for the show are how well the idea that when we can't speak, we learn to communicate are so smoothly portrayed. The end exemplifies that as Riley and Buffy are now able to speak they sit on the bed silently.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
