Is there anyone else who was waiting for Storm reviews to choose between the LG Dare and the BB Storm? I know they are vastly different phones (the dare is a dumbphone for starters), but they are the only two non-WinMo touchscreen phones from Verizon. I don't care too much for web browsing and e-mail, but just want a half decent multimedia phone. Given the Storm's mandatory $30 data plan, and the fact that the Dare has fallen to $150, I think I'll be getting the Dare. Its light, small, and takes 640x480 video. Anyone else want to comment on the multimedia aspect?
There are several verizon "global" phones that have GSM and CDMA on the same phone. I would think the data plan applies to verizon phones in GSM locations.
I agree...the Proliphix which I have seems superior to this in everything other than looks.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
